Privacy Policy

You can at any time object to or withdraw your consent for the use, processing or transmission of your data by sending an informal letter to NOWOtex GmbH & Co.KG, Bürgermeister-Ebert-Straße 4, 36124 Eichenzell-Welkers, or via email to info@nowotex.de. After receiving your objection or withdrawal, we will no longer use and process the affected data.

The use of the framework of the imprint obligation published contact data by third parties for the transmission of unsolicited advertising and information materials is strictly prohibited. The site operators reserve the right to legal action in case of unsolicited advertising, such as spam e-mails.

The data processing on this internet site collects and automatically stores in a Server Log File information that your browser sends us. This is: Browser type/version * Operating system used * Referrer URL (the page visited previously) * Host name of the accessing computer (IP address) * Time of server request. We do not assign this data to specific persons. This data is not amalgamated with other data sources; the data is also deleted following a statistical evaluation.

Cookies
The internet pages use so-called cookies at several points. They serve to make our offerings more user-friendly, more effective and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do no damage to your computer and do not contain viruses.

Web Tracking
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your computer. This allows an analysis of your use of the website. The information that the cookie generates about your use of this website (including your IP-address) is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google-operated server in the USA. This website uses Google Analytics only with the “_anonymizeIp ()” extension for IP anonymization. Your IP address will be previously shortened within Member States of the European Union or in other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area; which prevents it being directly linked to any particular individual. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities for us and to provide additional services connected with the use of the website and the internet. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. In addition, you can prevent the processing of the data generated by the cookie (including your IP address) and your use of the website, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the following browser plug-in: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

Log files
When you visit and use our website, our web server stores certain log information about this process in a file (log file). Log files contain the following information: Accessed URL, Time, Status, Volume of data transmitted, Web page from which the user accessed the page requested (referrer), HTTP status. We only analyse this data for statistical purposes, website improvement, system security purposes (e.g. to prevent misuse) and error diagnosis.

Google Maps
Our website uses Google Maps on some sub-pages to display interactive maps and produce travel directions. Google Maps is a map service provided by Google Inc. (Google). The use of Google Maps can lead to information about the use of this website, including your IP address and the (start) address entered in connection with the route planner functionality, being transmitted to Google in the USA. When you access a page that includes Google Maps, your browser connects directly with the Google servers. The map content is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the website by Google. For this reason, we have no control over the amount of data collected in this way by Google. If you do not wish Google to collect, process or use data about you via our website, you can deactivate JavaScript in your browser settings. In this case, you will not be able to use the map display. Please refer to the data privacy policies of Google for further information on the purpose and extent to which data is collected, processed and used by Google, as well as your rights in this respect and the setting options for protecting your privacy. Go to http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Disclosure of your data
We never forward your personal information to third parties with the exception of the cases explained here. Apart from that, in specific cases we may be obliged to disclose your personal data to law enforcement authorities. This will be the case, for example, if there is suspicion of a criminal act or misuse of our website.

Social media links/share buttons
The links to social networks featured on our website, including Facebook, Twitter and Google+, are only image links. These “Share” buttons are deactivated, which means there is no direct contact with the servers of these social networks. When you click on the “Share” button, a new window opens in which you must log in to your chosen social network. Only then can the selected page be recommended or shared. Our website never forwards data to the social network operator without permission from the user.

Hyperlinks to external websites
On our website, there are hyperlinks to the websites of other providers. When these links are activated, you will be directed straight from our website to the website of the other provider. This is indicated by the change in URL amongst other things. We do not accept any responsibility for the data privacy practices of such external websites as we have no control over the way these providers handle your personal data. Please refer directly to the websites of the respective providers.

YouTube
Our website contains embedded video clips from the video portal YouTube. YouTube is a portal of YouTube LLC, a subsidiary of Google Inc. For reasons of data protection, we decided not to integrate the video clips directly into our website but deactivated them by default. Thus, no data will be transmitted to Google when you access our website. For that reason you will only find a preview image of the video clip on our website. You must activate the video clip by clicking the preview image in order to watch the video. Only after this activation is a connection established to Google’s servers and data transferred to Google. We have no control over the amount of data collected in this process. Please refer to the data privacy policies of Google for further information on the purpose and extent to which data is collected, processed and used by Google, as well as your rights in this respect and the setting options for protecting your privacy. Go to: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Security measures
Within the scope of the technical administration of this website, we have taken technical and organisational steps to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, access by unauthorised third parties, loss, destruction or alteration. In this connection all data is transmitted exclusively via an SSL connection; we keep our firewall constantly updated and only allow password-protected access to our databases and applications. We will continue to optimise this protection in line with technical advances. We draw your attention to the fact that data transmission via the Internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may involve security risks. The seamless protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. It is your responsibility as a user to protect any data against misuse by means of encryption or by any other means. We recommend that you use the postal service when forwarding confidential information.
